Devine ISD began in 1882 and included the community schools of Biry, Blackcreek, BigFoot, and Shookville, prior to consolidation. Presently, the district covers an area of 237 square miles and has an enrollment of approximately 1,929 students, housed on four campuses.
Devine ISD provides a learning environment that ensures quality education. The district balances dynamic curriculum and cooperative partnership with parents and community, prepares students for changes and challenges of the future and empowers them to pursue productive and fulfilling lives.
