We know that we are living in very challenging times, and please trust that we have had to make decisions every day based on the best information we have at the time.

As we approach the third six weeks, we want to give families the opportunity to change their child’s learning platform if they so choose. We want each and every parent/guardian to know that you are absolutely under no obligation to change anything. The opportunity to change the learning platform is simply an option we are offering. It is important that we be able to formulate plans for the third six weeks and beyond. If or when a family decides to change the learning platform for their child, those changes have many implications for each campus as we go forward.

The second six weeks ends Friday, Nov. 6, and the third six weeks begins Monday, Nov. 9. Any and all changes of learning platforms for the third six week grading period should be made by Friday, October 30, 2020.

Changes may be made by calling the respective campus office.

If a student who is remote and has a Chromebook is planning to return to in-person school, the Chromebook should be returned to his or her campus office on Nov. 9.

For parents who are not changing the learning platform of either remote or in-person, there is nothing that you need to do. Your child will remain on that platform for the duration of the third six weeks.

Thank you for your continued support of the district and the commitment to the successes of our students.
